Youth Outreach teams provide early help across Merseyside, engaging with young people who are often vulnerable to exploitation and criminality.

Our team engage and build positive relationships with young people to ensure they get the appropriate support to help build skills and promote resilience.

The young people we engage with, have many obstacles that require good relationships with their youth worker to help them identify barriers to their personal development. Without the right support these challenges can and do have a lifelong impact on young people and those around them, both within the family and the community.

These challenges include inadequate knowledge around health and wellbeing, low educational attainment and employment prospects, poorer parenting skills and other adult expectations.
