What We Offer
Our sexual health sessions are engaging, interactive, and non-judgmental. They cover a broad spectrum of topics, including:
- Consent and Healthy Relationships: Helping young people understand the foundations of mutual respect, communication, and boundaries.
Safe Practices and STI Prevention: Providing practical advice on contraception, the prevention of sexually transmitted infections, and access to local health services.
- Body Confidence and Self-Esteem: Promoting a positive body image and encouraging young people to make decisions rooted in self-respect.
- Digital Safety: Addressing the challenges of navigating relationships in a digital age, including sexting, online privacy, and cyberbullying.
We create a relaxed, inclusive environment where young people feel comfortable asking questions and exploring their thoughts on sexual health and relationships. Sessions are often informal, incorporating group discussions, role-playing activities, and interactive tools to keep young people engaged.
Our Approach
We take a trauma-informed and culturally sensitive approach to our sexual health sessions. Many of the young people we work with have experienced ACEs or are dealing with vulnerabilities such as being NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training), involved in anti-social behavior, or navigating challenging home environments.
Our Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) expertise allows us to tailor our approach to meet individual needs, ensuring that every participant feels valued and heard. Our team, which includes professionals from education, youth work, and counseling, works collaboratively to create safe spaces for open dialogue and learning.
Why We’re Different
We believe in meeting young people where they are—literally and figuratively. Whether it’s on the streets, in schools, or through youth clubs, we bring our sessions to the communities that need them most. Our informal, relationship-driven approach fosters trust and ensures that young people feel supported in making informed choices about their sexual health.
Additionally, we recognize the role families play in shaping attitudes and behaviors. Where appropriate, we offer family sessions to facilitate open communication and support positive relationships at home.
Our Impact
By empowering young people with knowledge and confidence, we aim to reduce risky behaviors, promote positive health outcomes, and contribute to safer, healthier communities. Our sexual health sessions are a vital part of our broader mission to provide young people with the skills, resilience, and opportunities to build brighter futures.
